This faily new product sounds interesting, I've caught up with Mike in regards to his Makrolon renovation and it's sounding pretty good. However out of interest, as you would expect being a polycarbonate product it may be susceptible to srcatches? He did mention their was a harding process that would protect against this but the cost is more then two and a half times the origenial product price?

I hear we might be using a new polycarbonate product on a renovation, can you tell me any thing about it?
Makrolon is a clear polycarbonate flat sheet available in standard sizings which we are going to use as glazing for a conservatory. The polycarbonate sheet can be cut and fixed by yourself as our carpenter and the installing method is the same as traditional glazing.
